This wasn't just someone who'd tweeted something distasteful on Twitter years before. It was a committed extremist who'd rightly ended up in prison. I'm all for reform, but those seeking it from such a sociopathic past must expect their actions to constrain future choices. That's all part of it.

RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
Anyone who refuses care from a non-white member of NHS staff should be told to pay to go private.

Back when I had Twitter I used to offer free headshots for low-income authors, not sure I have much reach here but the offer is still there. London or Birmingham (although I’m in Glasgow and Edinburgh at the end of Aug and can fit in a session. Will have lights so can be indoors).

A lot of shows will talk about “fixed points” in time, essentially to prevent the characters from strategically or logistically deploying time travel to dismantle the crisis the story is about.
Oof. I said the other day this policy is like orbital data centres - everyone is dunking on it from their own area of expertise. Here's another one. I'd invoke "stop he's already dead", but the policy hasn't been walked back, so please don't stop, keep the critiques coming.

I'm not disputing anyone's claims of having mental health issues, but it's a *weird* angle to this story. He made a bad decision with his workflow. It detracted from the quality of his output, he got called out. Noone would be talking about mental health if he'd bought a bad mic, so why with AI?

This is a good thread; it just undermines the point of any sort of informed expert content if the information comes from or through AI - at best the presenter becomes an actor reading a script. The whole pitch is someone either already knowledgeable or who has done the research to inform you.

Burnham getting this wrong. If you don't have video interviews then orgs can only recruit locally because they won't pay travel and accommodation. Coming across well in video is a teachable skill.
