After deep reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to end my campaign for Mayor of MPLS. I got into this race because I love this city. But I’ve come to a hard truth: under the current political climate, I can’t be my authentic self and be a candidate in this race. (1/5)

Here are my thoughts on a strong mayor system: it requires a strong leader, and we don’t have one right now. You deserve to get the most out of your city government. That means electing a Mayor willing to roll up her sleeves and work with *everyone* to solve our toughest challenges together.

I think Koski has what it takes to run this city in a way that listens to the people of the city and take it on a better course than we've been led on by JF.

It’s been more than 160 days since David Moturi was shot. The bullet broke two ribs and lodged near his spine. It was removed in January, but there’s a lot more that the surgical procedure couldn’t fix. The feeling of danger has stuck, occupying his body as he has attempted to heal.

Caucus, caucus. Show up, be heard. As an introvert: caucuses can feel weird because it's a bunch of people who do actually care a lot about Minneapolis (that means a lot of different things!) in a room, and most are probably also introverts, lol. They're all volunteer run (SHOUT OUT to the vols!)

Mpls: Caucus tonight! Frey promised in 2017 he'd end homelessness in 5 years. Not only has he failed, he's repeatedly brutalized the unhoused population in the process. In alpha order, @dewayneforminneapolis.com, @omarfatehmn.com and @emilykoskimpls.bsky.social are great choices to replace Frey.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.
