Rather concerningly, the lawyer for the Tate brothers has confused “extradition” with “execution”. Young lawyers note - be careful not to do this in court.

I have enormous sympathy with people angry that the political vandalism of our prison system is forcing the (even earlier) release of prisoners. It is a scandal. But deciding who does and does not get released on the basis of the volume of public outcry at their crime is the road to madness.

I read several biographies of criminals, including the very worst. I have also spoken to plenty. I have never heard from or read of anyone who would prefer to be in Broadmoor.

I have today written to the new Justice Secretary following the news that Axel Rudakubana has been moved to Broadmoor Hospital. The families of his victims deserve answers about what has led to this decision.

This disingenuous commentary doesn’t help anyone. Frauds start unravelling pretty quickly. That you apparently cannot afford to put your oven or treat yourself is quickly undermined by the question “so why are you spending £50 per week on petrol?” Then, it turns out, she has an agent and /1

Elaine in this article "can't remember the last time she used her oven" but also spends £200 a month on petrol (so driving probably ~50 miles a day?) (she's also a professional old person; she was on Good Morning Britain last year, and then also at the Nov budget, and the year before lmao)

Have you seen those green bus and taxi ads for British Supplements? They've claimed their products treat cancer, encourage customers to distrust regulators, and reply to negative reviews by calling reviewers "femboys". And they're emblazoned across public transport in every major city in the country

The BBC undercover investigation into false immigration claims is deeply irresponsible journalism. It does not highlight that exploitation by unregulated advisors occurs because legal aid was cut and the system is insane to navigate.

Ironically the BBC stumbled on a really important story: Desperate asylum seekers being forced to turn to fraudulent fee-charging “advisors” to navigate a system that is intentionally impossibly baroque and from which all sources of free advice have been removed. But no: they chose Fake Gay Panic.
