If you're not reading A GREAT AND TERRIBLE WRATH (which you can do on this thread!) you're missing out. Skutch's writing is beautiful & challenging & heartbreaking & rich and you'd think that pages as objectively gorgeous as these would be the main draw for a comic like this, but nope, equal measure

some tips for actually doing this: -shitty is better than incomplete -you are the ONLY one who can do what YOU'RE doing -people LOVE seeing the artist's hand in their work, esp in the age of genAi -the more you say "this sucks," the more you believe it. the opposite is also true

(mostly) finished curtain project :) technically it is a quilt top with a backing on it until I do the hand quilting I want to do, but for now I'm just happy it's done enough to use. Shoutout to Chicago queer quilting cohort and generations-quilt-patterns.com for giving me the confidence to try!

I got laid off. I take care of my mother, who is disabled from a brain injury from sepsis. I only have 7 days left of metformin and 8 days of levothyroxine. I do not have a thyroid, and I will start dying within days, slowly and painfully, without hormones. please help
