5-HOUR VIDEO ESSAY "THE THING YOU LIKE SUCKS": i don't agree and can tell you're simply courting controversy in order to work the algorithm. i will not watch the video. blocked. 5-HOUR VIDEO ESSAY "THE THING YOU LIKE RULES": i already knew that. i will not watch the video. blocked.
I know this should be obvious but I do find it a little alienating to realize that most people don't have the slightest clue what an "algorithm" is but definitely have an idea in their head of what it is
Hence the unusual amount of lesbians who are acquainted with the language.

86% of survey respondents said they learned Haskell "to impress women"
The unfortunate thing about programming is that there is actually a canonical correct way to do most things and by the time you've written enough code to have learned a decent share of these the act becomes utterly uninteresting and devoid of creativity
I was procrastinating really hard on social features and bestie starts just tossing them all my way in a single night
and now you can like decks too!
This is live now ::) Memsora will now show you your comprehension level for a whole deck. Here's something neat: Since card records are separate from decks, you could use the same card from a different deck in a new deck, and your comprehension for that card will carry over across both.
hehehehehe
Sometimes you really just need a good friend to grab you by the shoulders and give you a shake and tell you it's time to refactor the monolithic kernel into microservices
chat is it normal if the handful of organizations in my industry that have accrued the valuation of a high GDP country start openly stating they have no safeguards to prevent their software from destroying the internet and also that it has been actively doing so without their knowledge?
Or idk, save a little bit of money to pay for a commissioned profile picture from an artist, it's usually the cheapest art inside their catalogue It's been years since I've only used commissioned art as my profile picture (most of the time, from a beloved friend of mine @alphajn.bsky.social 😘)
but like seriously though, do you really need an ai generated profile pic? like can’t u just pick any cool real thing instead ? or just a real picture of yourself lmao. i genuinely don’t understand.
As trans women we've got to get together and agree on some safe secret signal to each other because I always assume I'm an obvious clock and have some sense of kinship with the gals around me but I am learning most of them just think I'm cis
Did you know that if you get a bag of frozen veggies and a good pack of soup mix and toss that in a cheap electric hotpot you can briefly make contact again with the divine presence that abandoned humanity when we discovered atomic theory
I can't wait to use permissioned data to make zero discoverability, zero interaction social media We should be able to post without being seen or acknowledged Stop reading this skeet
I have no clue how to make a good app logo gotta have a logo to be on atstore, gotta have a logo for it to make sense to maintain a bsky for the app I don't know where app logos come from it seems scary
Is my follower base too atproto-development oriented now to start unabashedly trans posting on main
I still access tangled by typing tangled.sh into my browser, like someone from the stone age of 2025

It's safe to assume that all major LLMs are scraping Bluesky data to train future models. As an open protocol, Bluesky is one of the few sources of fresh human-generated content that anybody can gobble up. So all this is probably going in the models. There are submarines in the Great Lakes.
I'm not being facetious when I say that I believe atproto will take over the world when it gives us a standard, decentralized way to store whatever you want and share it however you want with a single identity
atproto devs in 2026:
This partnership between me and the Swiss national bank is going to be an unprecedented improvement to my finances
You gotta hand it to OpenAI, billing this as a *partnership* between OpenAI & Hugging Face when what actually happened was Hugging Face finding out that OpenAI was using a bunch of bots to exploit security vulnerabilities. Talk about good marketing or whatever you want to call it, by OpenAI.
I'm very grateful that my friends have given my silly flash card tool an earnest invested try and they've consistently come back with feedback and exciting ideas for where to take it
tangled.org/entropy.obsc... Tagging study material would be incredible for community backed discovery of cards and decks In an atproto approach you wouldn't even need to be the owner of the material, relevance of an item to a tag could be decided by the number of users that apply that tag

I'd like to be able to tag cards. We might be able to get a bit more leverage out of this than usual too if we make tags be records: if there's a `chess` tag record, I could use Constellation to find ...
