Poverty is a political choice. Homelessness is a political choice. Suffering is often a political choice. People are much closer to becoming disabled/unhoused than they realize. Help us build networks of community care and better social supports.

And, a driver's license or passport is not necessary for enrollment. It just takes one extra step. Combatting this change for next year is going to require pre-election enrollment and get out the vote drives. #nzpol

The Fonterra PR piece on the news was quite illuminating. International pricing is 80% of the price. New Zealand makes up 5% of the market. So you could sell butter locally for cost price & profit would only drop 5%. So you could drop the local price by half with negligible profit hit. #nzpol

Sorry just want to spell one thing more out: If there is a problem with resourcing & accuracy within the statutory timeframe for counting; *they are the government, they can increase resourcing*. They could also extend the stat timeframe; the press gallery are the only people who actually care.
