There's a homeless man that hangs around Supervalu in town and he often shouts at passersby. My sister walked past him and he called her a "dirty rotten cashless arrogant bastard". 😭

Time really is a flat circle because sometimes I think "George RR Martin did release A Dance With Dragons kind of recently, we should give him some credit" and then I look it up and see that book was released in TWO THOUSAND AND ELEVEN.

Have you ever finished a book and thought "that was pretty ok" but then an hour later you're drinking a cup of tea and unresolved plot threads start popping into your head and pissing you off?

Went to an amazing Abba tribute last night but poor mammy Burke tripped when we were walking back to her car and hit her head. She's been stitched up after a night in A&E, thankfully.

“So it was, on that misty morning, that Brenda set off for the capital. She knew not what she would find there, only that the time had come to move on - away from small-minded rural attitudes and people who called her ‘Oreo’ and ‘the wide panda’ - to seek a more fulfilling life.”

A belted galloway cow walking into the mist, on a Dorset lane, towards a bold, unpredictable future. You can see half of my car in the background. It looks remarkably clean, by normal standards. When one of my wife's work colleagues asked her "What car does your husband drive?" she answered "I can't remember what make it is but it's the really dirty one that sometimes turns up in the car park here" and her colleague immediately said "Oh yes, I know the one."
