People talk about how Gavin Newsom is running for President so he's not paying much attention to the needs of regular Californians (like housing, transit, clean air and clean water). Hopefully this gets his attention and he undoes those funding cuts

Here’s what the air conditioning discourse illuminates: to deal with climate change we need to electrify & we need zero carbon electricity, we also need more electricity- like double or triple what we have. And we need more cooling & cooling equity. There will be folks fighting against all of that.

It remains just insane to me that David Stearns and the Mets let an all-time Met walk because of concerns about his defense and we replaced him with two guys who can’t play defense and can’t hit.
