What is PBS Kids doing telling 3rd graders to use Ai to write a poem???

The truth about AI-generated content and writing is that, if you're actually paying attention and are actively engaged, you can tell the difference. AI only works in a society where people are dissociating and distracted and unengaged. That's the point of it. To just forward an unlived life.

This is a great thread on legal repercussions of biting dogs and breaking up dog fights. In most states (and definitely mine) if you know that a dog has bitten and you pass it on to someone, even well intentioned and it goes on to bite someone, you can be held criminally and civilly liable.

I’m feeling a way about this because my dog got attacked on a walk today too, by a dog that ran out of its yard and tried to bite him. Luckily Bruce only got scratches. But let me tell you THE most important thing to know about breaking up a dog fight: (1/2) (imma also tell you some legal stuff)

My local hospital was doing 3 ECMOs a week. Every floor, every unit was full of COVID patients. These people think that because there weren't cars in the lots, there weren't people in the beds. They all came in via ambulance and no visitors were allowed.

I remember scrubbing all mention of my kids being autistic from my and their social media just in case the information might be used by crisis standards of care to give the ventilator to someone without a disability.
