We played The Incident at Galley House over the weekend and it was EXCELLENT. A fantastic specimen of this type of mystery/deduction puzzle games with great production value on all fronts. 🧵 because I wanna ramble about it a bit but you should really just go play it.

![Following these discussions, I asked Yano if Mega Crit has a firm policy set in place against generative AI, as well as if the team uses AI in any other capacity. Yano explained that while he is against generative AI, he understands the usefulness of AI in other areas of game development and isn’t firmly anti-AI. Unreal quadrupling down on AI? Well, if you're considering Godot, keep in mind that the last version that was not made with AI contributions was 4.5. You can perhaps extend some courtesy to 4.6, but 4.7 openly includes AI-generated code and LLM-assisted changes. Do with this info what you will.

There is a Claude file in the game files for the playtest that started a conversation about it, and sadly, that will be the end of it for me. I'm heartbroken...
