nobody said shit when I was a 6’2”eighth grader destroying 5’4” sixth graders in football. like absolutely trampling and embarrassing them. weird how fairness only suddenly became a big rallying cry for these people in this one area but never around pay or body autonomy or policing. weird!!

when i'm riding the bus, why do I always get the weirdo sitting beside me that doesn't understand the unwritten rule that as the bus empties out and there's plentiful open tandem seats, you fucking vacate yours and sit by yourself?

During today's phone screen interview, it was revealed that employees don't start accruing PTO until after a year. Bro, wut? The kicker- It's a union job (incredibly rare in the culinary field). As a former union member from a family of union workers- double fuck outta here with that.

2 yrs ago I held neighborhood elected office covering U St, Washington DC. That summer saw occasional "teen takeovers," freaking people out. But police reported no arrests, no behaviors that could result in arrest. The public presence of (Black) young people is not inherently criminal or dangerous.
