Senate Democrats posted this the same day Josh Turek released the worst anti-trans ad of the cycle. Meanwhile, DCCC released their own anti-trans ad last week in South Carolina.

I guess I have to repeat this again: if you agree that Dems have to say anti-trans things to win, then you're not welcome here. You're not a resistor. You're not pragmatic. You're just a bigot and a coward that should never be trusted.
I think people intuitively understand that democratic candidates tossing trans kids to the wolves is not only morally repugnant but also politically ineffective, otherwise they wouldn't freak out every time someone said they weren't voting for a democrat who did this

This is where "it's just trans sports bans" leads you, Democrats supporting overtly genocidal policies that would kill tens of thousands of trans people. But at least we'll be marched into the camps by someone in blue, right?

Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.
It’s a subject that makes a lot of people uncomfortable and calling them corrupt and evil is easier. But the truth is that Republicans have a rape problem—one that they celebrate.

Yeah any dem would have been better than trump but there was plenty that could have been done to prevent trump from regaining power and plenty that dems have not done to slow his authoritarian government. Rubio got unanimous approval for SoS, the LRA got more than enough support from dems

Katie Bergh@katiebergh.bsky.social · 2d agoAbout 2 million kids have lost SNAP since deep cuts were enacted last year. The ripple effects: Kids losing SNAP also lose automatic enrollment for free meals at school. And as more kids lose SNAP, their schools may be forced to drop Community Eligibility.
The single most frustrating person politically is the moderate who claims they want the same things I want, they're just more realistic/pragmatic about achieving them. This is a lie you tell yourself because you can't face the truth that you don't want the same things I want.
