Nice try everyone thinks they can get out with "just be pragmatist then the issue goes away!" but, of course, about 12 of the views in the debate are various people trying to spell that out and it turns out they all have their own difficulties. There is no escape nothing will work this is hell.

Remember folks. The only truly safe investment is training yourself to find joy in art, literature, music, history, philosophy, conversation and so on.
