Reporting on the R* firings has meant multiple trips to London, Edinburgh & Glasgow over the last several months in order to be on the ground as the story developed. It's been a different style of video for us, with more frequent updates, rather than one big doc right at the end of the process.

In response to the request for voluntary recognition, mgmt can: 1) Say no 2) Wait out the 10 day timer 3) Say yes and enter negotiations with the workers Options 1 and 2 will look terrible and result in a recognition ballot the union can absolutely win. Option 3 will make everyone happy 😌

We began organising at Rockstar in 2019 and I’m proud to have been involved since the beginning. I’m even more proud of the workers who picked up the torch late last year and are now pushing for recognition.

Peace is not only threatened by war-mongering regimes like Russia, Israel and the US, but also by food and water insecurity and the climate crisis. Throwing even more money into the pockets of arms company bosses isn’t going to make the UK any more secure.

This is a really good piece on the ways fascist movements are currently funded and how they mainstream their ideas through diagonalist strategies. Really recommend taking a week or a sick day to watch it.
