the actual film is great, i love seeing glasgow and london and hampshire all used to make a fake new york with rainy weather and older buildings. it looks good in the film! the studio lot where they built a set of fake buildings is great! then the concept art is "morbius man made an ai once"

you should really click into articles you share because not only was it a single piece of concept art but it was made the funniest possible way

WattPad has been doing its best to take advantage of its creators to make a profit for years, in very similar fashion to its current owner, Webtoon (owned by Naver). Its motivation is to get writers to publish marketable stories on their platform that they have ownership of and can profit from.

Purity culture in fandom does play into the hands of those enforcing these standards, but it's important that these aren't rules created by fans. The new guidelines are from WattPad as a business, continuing limits on creative expression for corporate interests (see also: PayPal)

Out of curiosity, went to check out the new wattpad guidelines, and not only are they banning pwp, they're cracking down on pretty much anything that doesn't have a moral lesson and a happy ending (and can't be too violent either) policies.wattpad.com/content/
