This might be weird to say but the fact you can just watch a movie and be told a story anytime you want is kind of amazing at its core. Humans love being told stories that much.
In high school, my teachers taught us to investigate source material. Where information came from, who was telling it, who they were telling it to. Not all information is created equal. Anyway, it took me a while to realize that level of analysis, fundamental in my life, is not widely taught.
In 2027 Seattle's minimum wage will be $22.14 per hour. That's more than THREE TIMES the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour—a rate that hasn't been raised since 2009. And yet somehow we're not the jobless wasteland orthodox economics would predict. Weird.

I’ve said it time & time again @ pro-d, school staff, district events. If we make time 4 Ts 2 collaborate & design curriculum that is deep, interesting & VALUABLE to students in learning about themselves & the 🌎, they WILL engage & b excited about learning. Even then, some kids just can’t buy in.
