Despite it rankling dumdums, the term ‘cis’ is useful. For instance, I am happy to share a public restroom with a trans woman or a trans man. I do not wish to share with a cis man unless he‘s accompanying his child, in which case I’d appreciate a shout out before he enters. That is clarity.

🌱 After a disastrous growing season last year, I decided to try Siberian bush varieties, mainly Urbikany and Aurora. Both seem happy with the Scottish conditions, and I’m happy to finally have some home-grown tomatoes. This is about 1/5 of the current crop.
