I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.
I’ve had a lot to say about Democrats, but there’s only one party whose base sees being a domestic abuser as a political plus.

OK, small point here, but it’s almost certain he meant “parameters of a deal,” but he can’t spell and is very dumb, so he used “perimeters of a deal” and news orgs are just running with it like that’s a perfectly normal thing to say, which it absolutely is not. That’s not a thing anybody says.

That is a prime reason why so many powerful people want us to run screaming away from them into the comforting arms of selfish individualist competition.

The former blew the latter out of the water. Asked about specific reforms to get there, people are less sure. Also, Trump populists are the most fond of the status quo.
