We’re losing social mobility, learning opportunities, economic prosperity, research, arts at an alarming rate

"I seem to be living rent-free in Kemi Badenoch's head," Bridget Phillipson tells Lewis Goodall. With 93% of UK children in state schools, she says she "owns" the 'spiteful class warrior' dig over Labour's 20% private school fees increase www.thenewsagents.co.uk/article/brid...

Back from a trip to London & Sussex (in the extreme heat!), where I was grateful for some research time in the British Library (aircon!). Pleased to say that I’m now Associate Editor at JAWS: Journal of Art & Writing and an Artist Member at Two Queens in Leicester. I decided I missed editing and I’ve never been a member of an artists studio group before so this is a new venture into balancing the various aspects of my practice.

This creative-critical project is finely researched and deeply moving. It was a privilege to see @katewilcox.bsky.social develop this wonderful work and I recommend this short piece to everyone. #history #family #creative #WW2
