whenever there's a big protest overseas you see a contingent of americans going 'see that's what *we* need' and then when that energy does show it's tut tutted online, demonized on tv, and sprayed with chemical agents on the street. it's language policed and/or police policed down.
You probably think this is a touch of hyperbole. If you do, that just tells me not only are you not paying attention, you are actively ignoring all the trans people this has happened to. This is life in the UK as a trans person in 2026.

In Australia you can get it for free at any participating chemist (there are many). You don’t need to give a reason. Narcan is inert unless reversing an overdose, when it can be life saving.
I have a deep admiration for the French people to not just protest, but to get hit with teargas and batons, and they still keep pushing back. I feel not enough police are seeking treatment for injuries when we protest in Australia.
