About a year ago I got a concussion at longsword practice, and not realizing, I went to my library for a program on making a stuffed cat and couldn't figure out how to do a blanket stitch. Just finished the cat this morning and the stitch is so easy! Almost like I had a concussion last time I tried!
Once again, I am compelled to reread “Wailing Well” by M. R. James. I do this every three or four months. The figures crawling along the track always gets me.

I've been reading "Nordic Visions: The Best of Nordic Speculative Fiction" edited by Margrét Helgadóttir. It's quite good, and I really like the range of genres represented. In particular, I'm in love with the story "Sing" by Karin Tidbeck.

Just finished reading "Tales Accursed: A Folk Horror Anthology" edited by Richard Wells. Really, really fun anthology, great array of late 19th/early 20th horror. I simply love a haunted beach or heathland and a spooky figure in the distance.
