Does anyone have a link to an official source that shows the deadline to submit papers so they can be included in IPCC AR7 WGI? Web search gives me March 2027 for submission and October 2027 for acceptance but not from an official source.

Reminded today about time when The Sun published this story implying spray cans stop global warming (they didn't/don't). A reminder that we scientists need to be more careful about how terms like "aerosols" are understood by non-scientists (or other scientists). p.s. rest of story was nonsense!

We told you these heatwaves were coming but ghg emssions not yet going down (Stott et al, Nature , 2004 showing 2003 heat as regular occurrence). We're now saying West Antarctic ice sheet in imminent peril and huge irreversible sea level rise would result: would be good idea to listen this time.
I've just come from an event this morning where a forecast was presented for how a heatwave in 2056 would look. A 9-day run of over 40C. Peak 45C. Middle Eastern temperatures in the UK. And today we already see the impact that a heatwave in our current, cooler climate has on our lives.
