Look - I believe very firmly- that people's private lives are their own business. BUT when you've left your partner, moved with your kids to Dubai without them and started a relationship with someone who also left their partner and kids... well you deserve nothing but mockery for posts like this.

So you think money is more emotionally important than the love and stability and positive influence of being brought up by both a mum and dad? 1 don't care what any statistics say. Some things are just common sense. ISABEL OAKESHOTT

You have to love the Quakers; they’ve stood by the trans community for many years. Their main spaces are inclusive, with some minimal, legally compliant, outlying provision for bigots somewhere else. And you’re going to see this more and more from SPs. Hey, GCs, you got exactly what you asked for.

These include respecting the dignity and lived experience of every person, ensuring compliance with the Equality Act, protecting disabled people's access to accessible facilities, and maintaining robust approaches to tackling harassment or discrimination. The policy also states that Quakers will not require trans, non-binary or intersex people to disclose or prove their status in circumstances where such evidence is not demanded of others. Under the arrangements confirmed by trustees, toilet facilities labelled with a 'female' sign remain available to cisgender women, trans women, and others for whom those facilities best align with their lived experience. Last time I looked, free speech and telling lies about vulnerable people were not actually the same thing. For the Press to be respected, the Press must tell the truth. They aren't.

The major story of the last decade is the resurgence of overt racist hatred and fascism, on a specific platform of removing the civil rights of citizens, and deporting them where possible. The British press has - at best - used this opportunity to hammer the fuck out of everyone it’s always despised

To be a great novelist , I think empathy might be important , to be a successful press hack, it is quite the opposite , the less empathy, the better - yet again we are watching a spectacle of cruelty, self serving whining, cowardice - the nation’s press have been poisoning the well for too long

Kemi Badenoch made claims she was accepted onto a pre-med course at Stanford at age 16. Not only did Stanford deny it the said it wasn't possible. She now says she lost the paperwork. I don't recall the Times & Telegraph hounding the leader of the Tory Party like they did a minor academic.
