Doctor increased my dosage of Topamax. \o/ Another step closer to relief. I hope. My headaches have been slightly less intense the last couple of days although I did have a very mild hormone-related migraine this morning. Target is to get my IIH into remission.

Welp, I have idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH). Neurologist is putting me back on Topamax to lessen CSF production. I'm scheduled for a spinal tap next, then I'm on to see a sleep specialist and endocrinologist. Isn't all this fun?
I read somewhere over that last day that ESS research was one of the things axed by RFK Jr. at the NIH... among research on other conditions. Fucker.
Some days I literally feel like I'm dying. Like today. This morning I woke up with a headache that started at the back of my head, have nausea, and extreme fatigue. Still waiting on neurologist to call me so we can discuss next steps.
Reading up on ESS. Rather eye-opening considering my symptoms. I'll have to get more bloodwork done, but I 100% bet that I have a Adrenocorticotropic Hormone deficiency at this point. It would explain A LOT.
