People are so Capitalism-pilled that they see "user number big" as preferable + a reason Bluesky is "lesser" than other social media. But consider this: I don't want to be in a bigger, angrier, shittier crowd of people. I want to be in the smaller, curated, better behaved and more loyal crowd.

Viewers should turn this off as well. Note: If the stream is not opted out but you are, it will still use your chat messages. The stream must be opted out for it to not use your name, messages, and possibly more.

My personal recommendation is that you all refuse to stream with anybody who has this new gen AI training left on. You have to protect your own voice. It's non-negotiable. Further work beyond that would be removing your funding sources from twitch. Migrate to KoFi and push your viewers to use it.

I have opted out of Twitch's stupid AI bullshit and I suggest you do the same, even if you're not a streamer. What happens if a creator streams your game and is opted in? Does Twitch think it has the right to feed a developer's game into its AI slop factory? This has deeper ramifications than it seems on the surface.

Content idea: What if we all create new twitch channels just to mess with AI? We could wear masks that don't look human at all, say punctuation, pronounce all letters when we say names, etc. Then the generative AI model will be bonkers. What else can we do to make it likely to hallucinate?
