I can't stress this enough: Your local library. You would be amazed how many different groups, clubs, and orgs use your local library for holding events, publicity, teaching classes, or just a communal space. Libraries have never been more tech savvy. Go to their website. Look on their calendar.

[Someone asked how I find classes but has quotes off and I think it's a Q of broader interest] Sometimes I just pay attention to what friends are doing or what orgs around me are offering, sometimes I think of a thing I might enjoy and then I search for whether classes are available in my city

We rightfully talk about Ruby Bridges being the first Black child to integrate an all-white school in the South at 6-years-old. But we don’t talk nearly enough about Lucille Bridges, her mom ✨

Live A Live is probably still my favorite HD-2D game. I hadn't played the original so I didn't care it was a remake. Just an awesome game

It's really cool that Mario 64 has became a game engine thanks to the decomp a few years back. The amount of high-quality ROM hacks and minigames made with it always would put me in awe.

Idk if I'm doing something wrong, but I'm sorry. Persona 3 Reload is not gripping me as I think it should. Granted, I don't have complaints about the gameplay (tho the emphasis on skill cards suck as they break the game), but I have more complaints about the story. Then again, I'm in late June.

I implore anyone who wants to engage with art to grow a bit of a tolerance to uncomfortable and risque ideas. Contrary to popular belief, maybe the reason why the author included something problematic is not because they endorse it but rather to explore the concept and to make a cautionary tale.

This annoys me greatly, and it speaks to a lot of my issues with Squeenix's design philosophy in the 2020s. And honestly AAA philosophy in general. I don't even know where to START Like obviously it's wrong, cause you fit it on 2MB back in 1994. But also it's wrong cause it doesn't NEED your bloat.

A Final Fantasy 6 remake is a difficult prospect because it would need four or five games to do the story justice, Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki Yoshida says. "I understand the feelings of the players, but you’ve got to think about it," he says. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/a-final...

Ironically, I have spread misinformation. It was not "some jackass," it was actually a character artist early on in the film's development. I apologize. I think this is a nuanced situation, especially considering how long the film was in production and how the artists quickly came to be against AI

Update on this situation from our incredible PD Jake who is more qualified to speak on this than I. This is the last time I will be posting about this- thanks everyone for supporting our artists.
