I fear that Avatar Legends has a hold on me like no fighting game in recent memory. The core gameplay is so fucking solid and they polished it so well but also had to release it early so it has this really charming jank to it.

YouTube has a setting you should turn off right now. It makes it so every YouTube link you share shows your Full Name to whomever clicks it. In fact it forces whomever clicks the link to acknowledge that they have seen your full name before it plays the video. It is very annoying and weird.
I don't jive with the ending of The Odyssey. It feels like Nolan has to wrench the story in an unnatural direction to make a point that is unsupported by the text but is unwilling to diverge from the story to support the point so the story wrenches itself back in a way that undercuts his point.

I love AAA Games but I don't see how big studios are going to work long term. I fear that people who would normally be pitching their studio's next amazing game are going to save their best ideas for when they are inevitably forced into a solo project by layoffs.
