IANAL but my understanding was that "gender critical" beliefs, in the context of having protection under EA2010, are quite tightly defined. The way that most GCs then apply their so-called "beliefs" more broadly to vilifying trans people is, as far as I'm aware, *not* protected. So... yes.

Make no mistake, what the "gender critical" movement wanted was to force Féile Belfast into compliance through lawfare. That is their modus operandi when it comes to dealing with any org that shows a scintilla of support for trans people. They lost this time, and they're struggling to cope with it.
