The reason prisoners' rights are unpopular is that most Americans are useful idiots who do not grasp that "criminality" is a status wholly defined by the State. They cannot imagine that THEY would ever be in prison, despite the fact that the US incarcerates people at 8x the rate of normal countries.

For those who are new, Joe DiGenova has spent the last 30 years baselessly accusing Democrats of committing crimes. If he is saying publicly the Trump administration pushed him out because he wouldn’t bring cases because there was no evidence, things are really bad.

I am a strong believer of the lesson of the paradox of intolerance. A tolerant society cannot extend infinite tolerance to those who are willfully intolerant.
