this is what i find most disgusting about this topic. Cis centrists defend her with 3 arguments: 1) praising her not fighting the bathroom ban is good activism 2) purely aesthetic along identity lines - we should love her because she’s trans, not because we care about policy

Everything is designed to sexually harass and humiliate her. her democratic colleagues largely stayed silent - perhaps at her request. Worse, cis liberals on here cheered her acquiescence to sexual harassment as activism done right
i can’t ever stress this enough but this is why you do not, under any circumstances, share internal queer beef with cis people. They will turn it into a spectacle to mock us all. It will be used to justify their treatment of us and to keep us marginalized.
