It happened very slowly, and then all at once.

We got some quotes from @wyden.senate.gov about his wild report yesterday about banks withholding suspicious activity reports about Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking empire because they wanted to keep the lucrative relationship. Crazy conduct and Wyden has some good solutions for it.

Sen. Wyden Report: Banks Systematically Ignored Jeffrey Epstein’s Crimes - The American Prospect

The report shows how employees at Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and JPMorgan helped to hide Epstein’s activities because he was a load-bearing part of their ‘wall of cash.’

A thread on how U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) wargamed an Insurrection Act invocation scenario just five weeks after Trump's second inauguration...and how subsequent DoD actions raise the specter of military involvement in connection with the 2026 midterms.

A week after Trump issued his "national emergency" proclamation for the southern border, the military began planning for a potential invocation of the Insurrection Act & much more. Another major #FOIA get, out now. cc: @radleybalko.bsky.social @cjciaramella.bsky.social www.cato.org/blog/northco...

A post online that got a bunch of traction teased a christian nationalist militia that's growing, but hid all of the info and group name behind a substack paywall. The group is called Ozark Christian Initiative, with chapters in MO, AK, TX, OK, and NE. Fuck people who gatekeep info on the far-right.

Photos of white men in tactical gear holding a flag with text over it that reads "join the ozark christian initiative" and a crusader cross. two white dudes intactical gear standing in the woods holding a red and white flag with a cross in the middle and holding up three fingers to symbolize the holy trinity.some white dude in tactical gear looking like a complete fucking dork kneeling on the ground while someone stands over him with a sword.A dozen white people in tactical gear with faces redacted standing in the woods giving the holy trinity hand gesture.

Everyone should learn about the New Apostolic Reformation, a dominionist Christian cult, that was crucial to the lead up to J6 and the spread of the Big Lie about the 2020 election. They believe they're called by God to take dominion back from Satan. The GOP candidate for CO governor has NAR beliefs

Yep. Earlier this year I was interviewed by Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media is aiding the Trump administration’s Epstein cover up.

Banks permitted millions in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein—and former 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi had the story months ago. But the report would never air. trib.al/ZShZlIS

Jim Crow 2.0 doesn't have poll taxes. They just get rid of polling places to make it much harder for you to vote, and kick you off the voter rolls for 'reasons' without telling you. Voter suppression is racism. If a candidate isn't talking about voting rights, they aren't paying attention.

The NAACP has released a statement while the Tarrant County Commissioners Court considers a proposal today that would cut the number of Election Day polling locations nearly in half "Let's call this what it is… voter suppression"

Tarrant County, Texas, could see around 50 percent fewer polling locations in November's election.

"Let's call this what it is… voter suppression," said NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson. "Cutting nearly half the places where people can cast a ballot doesn't save democracy money, it costs voters their voice. Tarrant County is home to a significant number of Black and Latino voters and is a majority people-of-color county. There is no question that this plan strips away polling access on a scale that will hit Black and Brown voters hardest. That is not a coincidence. It’s an intentional assault on our ability to make our voices heard and we will push back with every tool available.”

Voting that may be free but is not fair. When people make fun of everyone in Texas, assuming we all chose the idiots in charge, they do not know about this kind of bullshit fuckery. The politicians have manipulated who can vote until they manage to elect themselves.

Jen Rice@jenrice.bsky.social · 2d ago

They're probably hoping you won't hear about this. But tomorrow in TX, Tarrant County officials meet to vote on a GOP plan to cut almost HALF of Election Day voting locations, plus 8 early voting locations, some of them on campuses. Not hard to guess why. fortworthreport.org/2026/07/30/t...

Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase likely violated federal anti-money laundering laws by failing to properly screen and report payments from Leon Black to Jeffrey Epstein, and underreporting Epstein’s suspicious activity to the Treasury Department.

The pedophile-protector party is going to confirm President Epstein’s personal lawyer to be the top cop in the land. We have reached peak pedocracy.

An initiative on the ballot in Washington state in November would require all athletes seeking to play girl's sports from kindergarten to high school to undergo "genetic screening, a testosterone-levels test, or an examination of their reproductive anatomy" before they can play

The Campaign to Force Genital Exams on Girl Athletes Soon Washington State could require sex-verification tests for those playing sports in schools.

By Andrea González-Ramírez, a senior writer for The Cut who covers systems of power. Those physicals, Maria explains, are usually perfunctory: “Like, Are you walking normally? Are you lightheaded? I have never had to take any clothes off. I’ve never felt uncomfortable or violated.” If IL26-638 were to pass and Maria were still in school, she says she would likely drop out of her team. (We’re withholding Maria’s real name to protect her privacy.) “I honestly don’t know if I would be able to do these tests,” she adds. “It would also make me question, If I do it, are all my teammates going to too? Or would I just play with the three or four girls who are willing to or have access to do it?”

James Talarico on Texas officially banning THC: “Texans aren’t going to stop smoking weed and eating edibles because politicians in Austin say so. We are now telling full-grown adults how to live their lives. This is the nanny state at its worst; this is big government at its worst."

In 2022, I noted that Steven Crowder accepted an invitation from a woman in North Texas who has described herself as a Christian Fascist and wondered whether he aligned himself with her group's ideology. Now we don't have to wonder.

A data breach of Adult Friend Finder showed an account created using Moreno’s email with the username “nardo19672,” which “appears to refer to Moreno’s full first name, Bernardo, as well as the year and month of his birth in February 1967.” The user indicated they were seeking “Men for 1-on-1 sex.”

And then they throw in some Celtic languages and yoink bits of languages from around the world along the way. The result: a language where there are usually about 10 different ways to say something, but when it comes to writing, you sit at your desk for 20 minutes trying to think of one 🤣 #amwriting
