A little reminder that enjoying yourself is never a waste of time. Hours into a videogame isn't a waste of time. Learning something for fun isn't a waste of time. I love learning new things, I have so many I learned once and never did again. Never a waste of time.
I mostly agree with this except I don't think she came to this realization, but that Warner Bros has noticed it's affecting THEIR bottom line with merchandising and are putting pressure on her to tone it the fuck down. There are companies abandoning licenses for HP over boycotts and protests.

A really basic thing that people who use generative AI to make flyers, menus, book covers etc don't seem to grasp is that it makes it look like a scam. Using an image which has been generated makes it look like the real thing doesn't exist. No one wants to buy a ticket or whatever. It looks fake.

I think another lesson to take from the loss of both Dolly and Tim Curry is that neither of them took themselves seriously but they took the work dead serious that's the most important thing pour all of yourself into the craft but have fun and don't get an ego.
