Pope Leo XIV: Someone who says 'I'm against abortion' but says 'I'm in favor of the death penalty' is not really pro-life. Someone who says that 'I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants who are in the United States,' I don't know if that's pro-life.

VP Kamala Harris: 1 in 12 women in America lives in a maternal care desert. Black women are 3-4x more likely to die during childbirth. Native women are 2-3x more likely to die. Medicaid is the largest funder for maternity care, Trump cut Medicaid funding by $1T. Mike Rogers supported that cut.
VP Kamala Harris: Donald Trump and his administration has cut funding through the NIH on many research projects that they consider to fall under DEI. The Senate should be a stopgap on the abuses of this administration, and Dr. El-Sayed would be one to stand up against the cuts to those funding.
Taylor Lorenz pulling a "Why I'm Leaving the Left" is perhaps the most predictable thing ever to have occurred, narrowly edging out "housecat slowly pushes cup off edge of table"

Retro Blast 👻@retroblastpod.com · 3w agoWhat's your "origin" video game? Most gamers have a lot of favorite games, sure, but there's always one that basically 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 you. I'm talking about the game that flipped that little switch in your brain and made into a life-long gamer. So, which game is 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?
Thread: Two different versions of this AI-generated image purporting to show President Trump and his assistant Natalie Harp kissing went viral this week, generating millions of views across multiple platforms. Despite being fake, this wasn't a straightforward AI image to debunk. I'll explain why.
