i know i'm preaching to the choir on this site of all sites, but i really think young queer people being active on twitter should be considered a form of self-harm in the same way that we generally understand 4chan is bad for you. because twitter is basically 4chan at this point

I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more
everyone seems to be responding positively to this and i hate to burst anyone's bubble, but i recently went to a Luddite festival in NYC and this is something organizers specifically warned about: don't let capitalists sell your hatred of capitalism back to you

Whenever kids media has even the smallest amount of seriousness you get a lot of "WOAH this isn't for kids!" comments but the thing is, they are for kids you just don't respect kids enough.
