Two days ago I was looking at 10k races for the fall once I complete my training program. Last night I went to the hospital and left with a referral to a spine surgeon for an MRI. I am a disaster.

The fun thing about finally getting a hearing test is proving to everyone who dismissed me over the years that I actually do have hearing loss, and I'm not just an asshole who is ignoring you. The less fun part is I need hearing aides at age 39 😅

It's so much easier to take my kids out to do things now that they're a little bigger. Even with my younger son's severe food allergies, we're able to go out as long as it's not a food centric activity, because he knows not to put everything in his mouth and not accept any food from strangers.
