I want to go to Defcon, but with a tear in a muscle in my right knee, it might not be in the cards this year after all. I really wanted to see some friends but since I'd be going solo and on crutches where it's hard to initially stand up, and the inability to carry my backpack or luggage...

ive been defeated a thousand times and i can get back up. pace yourself, take breaks, set small attainable goals, keep your space and yourself clean to the best of your ability, find a support group, and then gather the seven chaos emeralds to power your latest creation to crush the hedgehog

That Democrats see mass-murdering fascists dismantling the country as nothing more than "colleagues they dislike" is why we've been in a non-stop plummet. Incredible this is still debatable, by people who ostensibly oppose fascism, ten years into this?!?

My hot take is that Lindsey Graham did many contemptible things but if you’re furious that his Senate Democratic colleagues are posting nice things about him today you need to put down your phone, get some fresh air, and remember a time when a colleague you disliked departed this mortal coil.

I'm reminded of when I was job searching for infosec jobs, a big red flag was me seeing the same opening for a security engineer job that was around for 9+ months. And that someone I used to know on that team bragged to me the security posture was the "best it could be, given the huge scale".

Looking at my Bazzite Linux installation and still sad I can't make more virtual audio cables nor have a Voicemeeter replacement that works on there. Plus Elgato refuses to support Linux. So have to keep dual boot.

it's so funny that trump dismantled biden's (half-assed) EV and renewable energy incentives to keep us totally reliant on oil, then immediately hit the "make oil crazy expensive" button. china is gonna come out of this smelling like roses and we're gonna be the carpet the rest of the world walks on

There's a whole blog post I want to write up but has been sitting in my head for months to maybe a year now, but it's been slow to really do much the past month.

There are very few Democrats that I will not vote for: I voted for and ENDORSED Kamala Harris, for instance, in the last election. Gavin Newsom is one of them. His election would be an active threat to transgender people, and I lay out the case in my piece.

I have a job offer! It's on-site and not on the west coast though, but it's something nonetheless. Just need to survive another 2-3 weeks and should be good.
