New Texas data center projects frozen until state audits them

On Monday, the governor ordered the Public Utility Commission of Texas and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas to audit all data centers wanting to connect to the state’s power grid.

like when the tea party paid for No Data Center yard signs in my hometown sometimes they don't care if it goes elsewhere just don't want it where it affects their home BUT step 1 is to add as much friction as we can to being anywhere they're trying to be we'll cross the next bridge when we get there

I don't think people understand what the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences actually is. It sounds super academic like some society that studies film intellectually...but it's a marketing arm and lobbying group for the major American film studios and has been since its founding.

Maybe if someone else says the thing I've been yelling for years, people will listen. This. She has openly said this. Multiple times. I don't care if you stopped spending money on the franchise, your profile having your Hogwarts House is the equivalent of a swastika.

JKR explicitly said she considers anything Potter-related, even fan-made, endorsement of her politics. And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.
