Replaced 175 2" blocks with vintage fabric, covered holes on the back, new binding, a bath. Stain on back did not come out so made a 9 patch from vintage stash. Am I weird for enjoying the whole process?

Back and forth sways my swing Chinkling wind chimes Coffee hot on the table Pencil poised above my pad A soft whoosh of air brushes my cheek as A titmouse's #wings carry her To the seeds on the rail I remain calm Glancing at me as if to say Sorry She picks a seed And flits away #thingstowriteabout
As #pink as a maidens blush A full rose deepest shade Coral waving a watery hue early sunrise ombre layers Feathery pigment flamingos Bright pink streaks through my hair Iced shrimp ready for butter Wallowing pigs a dirty mode And finally The best of all-Dolly Parton pink #thingstowriteabout

#quiltsky This quilt is a pattern by Kim Diehl, called Sunday Best, using her Quiet Grace fabrics. I started it in 2024 and have finally finished it! It's 77 x 77 From a distance, on a fast horse, you really can't see my wobbles. Of course, I over quilted it. Over 2000 meters of Glide thread. Whew!

My #laugh is my #super power A vocal beacon Vibrating through the air Gathering people together An announcement that Somewhere closeby An unfortunate humorous Happenstance has occurred Which must be viewed by a #patch of people immediately Or...I just saw a really cute puppy #thingstowriteabout
Finally finished the last of the 4 quilts brought by 1 client. This one was a challenge. Found out from a fellow quilter that this is the anvil block pattern.

I recently formed a new band. We call ourselves 'The Sewing Machines' but we've struggled to find a singer. 🐢💨
I have fallen in love with these 2 vintage baby quilts. Both needed new bindings; green one needed 2 holes covered. I don't know which I like it better. What do you think?
