@djara.dev @marque.at is a domain registrar meant to be "atproto native", i.e. it has a few integrations like for @wisp.place or handles for Bluesky. I don't know if there are specifics for the AP side of @wafrn.net that could be made easier or what kinds of integration are possible/useful.

I think it's actually doubly important to understand how these models work even if you're very anti-ai because it's easy to spin the narrative if you don't. Also I have misgivings about how anthropomorphized this tech is.

Use of the terms "rogue" and "loss of human control" lead to groupthink as people lack the critical skills to understand the difference between "autonomy" and faulty reward functions in AI on a task it was directed and given access to do.
It is economically beneficial for the big US AI corps to scare politicians into heavily regulating AI with their guidance, a tactic to quash competition and likely outlaw open weight models. There are legal and ethical issues with (gen)AI, but imagine the only legal models being proprietary.

He has been captured by the worst people in AI for a few years now and has been parroting company hype talking points instead of guarding against them. It’s like the public is being assaulted from all sides.

My only comment besides being wary of how difficult this is to implement properly (ex: deps) is that I wish that forgejo/codeberg were serious about federation via forgefed. @fediverse.stefanbohacek.online how many forgefed-enabled forgejo instances do you know of? I know 2 including the demo.
