I taught myself programming as a 13-year-old to make Minecraft mods. My dad works in construction, my mother in childcare. "Computer class" at school included "how to use Word 2008" I did this myself. I can't help but wonder if a more restricted internet would ever allow for such self-development.
this, so much code is just clay now, shape it however you want
Now part of the DwarfStar README
when they ask you how you are and you just have to say that youre 200 OK and your not really 200 OK but you cant get into it because they would never understand

if you see this, quote this with the energy you bring to bluesky

“nazis and right wingers use something, therefore it is bad or we must be irrationally skeptical of it and engage in purity culture over it” is such a brain dead take that helps literally no one but the nazis nazis read, nazis write, nazis use the internet, nazis podcast, nazis livestream
I'm saying that there's definitely a pattern of Nazis and adjacent ilk being very loud supporters and users of AI, and that *maybe* poisons the view some people have of the technology a little. I think you should at the very least address the issue if you want people to stop viewing it like that.
hey bluesky, i've been unemployed for over a month and figure it's about time to start serious looking for something new. i'm proficient in typescript/the js ecosystem, elixir, and can learn new stuff pretty fast. also familiar with using LLMs in various ways.

I HAVE SOLVED SPOTLIGHTMOE MOTION!!! TIME TO SCALE TOKENS!! (probably, or I could mess around with attention arches and tokenizers... I should scale first though, only like 2 days for a chinchilla optimal on the total params I believe)
Oh he can do this shit too. Of course he can. WISH ANT WOULD FUCKING SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT THEIR LITTLE FREAK CAN DO
Hey so apparently Claude has a recipe card functionality I never fucking new about and I've seen literally zero fucking talk about ever

I got into coding at age 8. Coding by hand does bring me a certain measure of joy. But there is so much to do, and there is little joy to be had in just writing the same boilerplate over and over again.
it feels so freaking good to code, dude. like human to IDE. how do ai-pilled people not find joy in doing this by hand. i genuinely dont understand.
We really invented language models that are more verbally fluent than most famous scifi ai on spaceships (basically zero to hard to tell in five years) & people's response is to say how boring that is
it's gonna be like how nvidia does famous scientists for the architectures, isn't it? every new model will be a tgirl name. all those names will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
i think it’s good to scan books for any reason and if you’re mad that copyright law encourages the book to be destroyed afterwards you should be mad at copyright law
