Once again, I come back to the fact these guys have created a situation where one of the UK's leading, cis female athletes is scared to go to the loo alone, and the fact that they are celebrating this as a step forward for women's rights.

Today the most markedly hostile anti-trans regulation ever conceived in the UK goes into force - creating legal chaos and an environment of suspicion and hostility targeted at anti-trans segregation with a blast radius that will hit everyone else as well. The last Magdalene laundry closed in my lifetime. Homosexuality was decriminalised in Ireland in my lifetime. Access to condoms without a prescription in Ireland only came in 1985. We repealed the 8th. There's a lot of ways in which Ireland is still bad, but it is an entirely different country.

Just misread "transcendental meditation" as "transexual meditation" and you know, I think cis folks probably could benefit from a bit of training on how to tune out the horrors of the world from folks who deal with more than their fair share.
