Since I moved to Tokyo, I’ve been getting into shaders more and more. About 10 days ago I vjd for some Japanese friends at a cafe in Kitami, live coding GLSL from scratch. I’ve also been playing around in my free time, live reactive/interactive visuals are the shit!

a frustrating thing about fighting Hwoarang in Tekken 8, is the fact that his double mid string While Standing 4, 4 is 100% safe, like what the fuck. Kazuya's WS 4, 4 is unsafe (as it should be). all of my Tekken senses scream at me to punish it but it's simply not punishable

tried Helium browser for a few months, it's great, i got used to having my own password manager and all. but living in Tokyo and still on the process of learning the language, no translate page feature is a deal breaker. gonna give Vivaldi a shot

i wonder if the quality of life approach to game design is just a trend. when a system presents mild levels of frustration/tedium to players, that's probably just fine as is but also it's a great chance to find something there. like there's probably something there to grab on to

tried pearl barley today as a substitute for rice. incredibly delicious.. unfortunately it was de-husked so it didn't have as much fibre as i expected.. but it's slightly higher protein than regular white rice!!
