It’s embarrassing that the rabbi of Central Synagogue - one of the most prominent Reform rabbis in the US - is portraying Mamdani’s accurate description of Netanyahu as a war criminal as a sign of antisemitism. This is part of why young people take antisemitism less seriously than they should.

I suspect it is not something that can happen in one or even two generations but if the Presiding Bishop is serious about us being a church of resistance rather than wrapped up with U.S. empire then this weird relationship between the "National Cathedral" and holders of U.S. power needs to end ⚓

I think the most frustrating thing about Harris is that I genuinely have zero clue what she stands for. When she inevitably announces, it'll be the third time she's run for president, with her third different vision.

Kamala Harris being the frontrunner feels like Joe Biden being the Democratic frontrunner throughout much of 2017 through South Carolina 2020: Most pundits, fundraisers and activists don't want to admit it, but the actual voting base of the Democratic Party still likes her and will vote for her.

It will never not confuse me that people who describe themselves as "scientific socialists" still unironically lean on psychoanalysts like Freud and Jung to try and say anything about human behavior and thinking.

The Supreme Court decision on birthright citizenship was about the second or third worst outcome. Some will tout this as the "guardrails working" but the bottom line is 3 justices were ready to throw out 150 years of precedent to give their fascist agenda a win.
