New trend I've noticed in posts: "I do use ChatGPT but only a little bit, like when it's convenient to me, so that's OK. I'm not one of those people damaging the environment and rotting my brain". Yes. You. Are.

I worried probably more than was strictly necessary about this Jersey Tiger moth that flew onto a tube train at Northfields today. How would it find its way home? Should I get off the train and take it back?? (In my defence I had by then been awake for nearly 24 hours and had travelled 4,000 miles).

A jersey tiger moth on the grey metal of a tube train wall. It has black and off-white stripes - more like a zebra than a tiger, to be honest.

You know those adverts with incredibly awkward and stilted 'customers' saying things like "I thoroughly recommend these chairs" in a painfully dull monotone? I am wondering if they are: 1) genuine members of public 2) really bad actors 3) really GOOD actors??

Hello new follower who follows only women. Personally I would probably wait until I had more than one follower before describing myself as a 'public figure' in my bio, but maybe that's just me. Anyway you're blocked.

A slightly awkward request for a small favour, Bluesky. My son’s girlfriend Taylor is on the shortlist for a slot at the groovy Sofar Festival in Shoreditch this autumn, and they’ve put it to public vote. She is excellent and this would be great for her. Here she is singing one of her own songs.

Oh dear, I'm sure the scheduling of today's Bargain Hunt seemed like a good idea at the time 😬 (For those not watching, it's a football themed special - lots of 'coming home' and 'they think it's all over' references etc).

Instagram ad offers me an analysis report of what AI thinks of my website. Thank you, but I know what my website thinks of AI and that's enough.

I accidentally tapped the green tick instead of the red cross when the garden centre chip and pin pad asked me if it wanted to make a charity donation. I guess I'm definitely going to heaven now, right?
