I had to laminate the card to keep it from disintegrating! 😁 Great as a desert, especially after Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy!

Fun fact? I rarely drink hard liquor or cocktails. Sometimes wine, a bloody mary at the airport. A margarita if I'm at a resort. But I'm really just a beer guy. I couldn't tell you the last time I bought a fifth of vodka or anything like that. So, yeah I didn't order anything off that menu.
About me, I dislike beer very much and I very rarely drink any alcohol. I grew up surrounded by continually drunk adults and I drank A LOT in high school, coupled with recreational drugs. Once I was out of high school and away from my family tho, I switched to occasional imbibing and acid dropping.
In my early 20's acid was readily available. Bought it by the vial. Ecstasy was still pure and uncut. Bought those by the lid. And smoked a BUNCH of pot And you know what? I hated alcohol. Hated being around drunks. *shrugs* Simpler times.
I remember having easy access to "Joe Cool" out of Muncie, IN. It was a long paper hit with a Snoopy wearing a collegiate sweater on one side... like a really well done one. I imagined a Gutenberg press somewhere in a Ball State basement pressing whole sheets out 24/7. It was impressive, in its way.
If you know, you know. These were ~80 hits. And like $300 Man those were fun times.

#Bird of the Day: Least Grebe (LEGR) In my region, the Pied-billed Grebe is the most unassuming looking of grebe, but the LEGR, found in Central & South America & the Caribbean, is even smaller & perhaps even more unassuming. Its most striking feature is a bright yellow eye; a white wing patch is
visible in flight. But you won’t see them flying much; they're usually floating serenely on shallow bodies of freshwater or tucked among vegetation at the banks. For breeding, these #birds appear to prefer marshy areas that are wet only part of the time; this is believed to be because those spots
are devoid of large fish that may prey on grebe chicks. Those chicks are a perfect example of “precociality” in #birds, meaning that they're remarkably capable shortly after hatching. In LEGR, downy chicks can climb upon mother’s back for protection only 20 minutes after hatching. Give them 20 more
minutes & they can cling to her as she dives for food. How precocious is that?! LEGR are often seen with their back & tail feathers fluffed up to expose their skin. 🪶 Their skin is black & absorbs the sun’s UV radiation, which I imagine feels nice, & also can inhibit ticks & mites. I’m always
amused to remember the grebe Family name: Podicepedidae, which roughly translates from Latin to mean that their feet are on their rear end. And truly, they are set so far back that these #birds have trouble walking on land; that leg placement & their lobed toes give them mad diving skills.
