Don't tell me I need to "teach students how to use AI" if my field has nothing to do with gAI. They already know how to "use AI." What they don't know are the things I need to teach them in my history and disability studies classrooms, the things actively being hindered by large scale misuses of AI

A ton of effort is going to go into pretending taxing rich people doesn’t work just like a lot of work went into immediately ignoring and getting rid of that expanded child tax credit once it was revealed it worked way better than expected

It has funded FREE school lunch for ALL students, FREE buses in lowest income communities (people can get to work, etc.), and FREE community college. And "exodus" was minimal.
