An outstanding river red gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) currently* growing in the east parklands of Adelaide, South Australia. It is 6.60 metres in trunk girth at chest height, 27 m tall, and having an average canopy spread of 27.5 m. I'd estimate it to be between 150 and 300 years old.
Crotalaria cunninghamii all finished! Such a stunning flower on this plant!

I inadvertently woke her up by stumbling down the steps in my slippy Birks right next to where they’re roosting today. She didn’t look that concerned about my welfare though. She went back to sleep about 4 seconds later. He never woke up in the first place.

The many flowered shrub violet, Pigea floribunda (syn. Hybanthus floribunda)! Its tiny little flowers are held pendulously making them difficult to photograph! It’s a widespread small shrub throughout the south west and into New South Wales!
