Clearly the gov’t of Alberta’s so called oversight is missing if their audit didn’t notice the bit about using corporal punishment for discipline. The fact that these schools do not use accredited teachers is also concerning. This is an abject failure by the Province.

Appearing Wednesday in Scarborough, Carney spoke for the first time about his government’s decision to scuttle Premier Doug Ford‘s dream of an expanded airport on the waterfront. But while he stressed criteria for safety upgrades at Billy Bishop that his government supports, along with standards to limit noise and protect the environment, the prime minister would not rule out commuter jets using the airport in the future. “Forever is a long time,” Carney said. “But let’s make it clear, it’s a small part of a much bigger puzzle.”

Yeah he could because its a terrible idea with zero upside. The expansion of that airport hinders too many existing investments and undermines emerging needs and upcoming projects. Its dumb. Never is an entirely suitable timescale.
