Solasta 2’s character editor kind of stinks, but I like that the devs are pretty prompt in announcing they’re working on it. I like early access participation.

With respect to the differences between video game RPGs and TTRPGS, combat encounters are at their best when they allow the players to experience something, instead of being fodder to grind levels, and the former should be the primary motive for having them, esp in the TTRPG medium.
