it's counterintuitive to drivers that never bike but this is safer, and more efficient for everyone. However, it really only works if drivers do what they are supposed (read: bound by license) to and stop completely at every sign.

I don't usually stop at stop signs on my bike and I'm tired of pretending that I should. I'm also not blasting through them at 30mph without looking or something, I usually slow down to assess and then pedal on through if it's clear or slow WAY down to allow a car to go first and then pedal through.

Fucked up that those luddites want to ban this. The commumists are gonna send armed police to your house and steal the GPU out of your gaming rig to prevent this.
